… Our program is the result of many years of highly successful development by the Humanist Society of Greater New York, dialogical workships in Europe, and professionally facilitated support groups. There is always a new and exciting topic introduced by a skilled moderator, followed by a brief relaxing meditation and then the program of the evening. Afterwards we socialize, enjoy light refreshments and, occasionally, dance.

The Wannabees is a running group started in November 2009 after the six original members ran the 2009 Prospect Park Track Club 5 mile Turkey Trot. Since 2009 the Wannabess have competed in over 20 NYRR races,  Marathons in the USA, Canada and Europe and have many more destination runs to follow.
